Comfy spot with nice vibes
Had a fab stay for a night! The room was super comfy and had all the essentials I needed. Some nice toiletries. The location's a winner, close to the train station and shops. Staff were really friendly too, which made me feel right at home. Just wish there was a parking option though.

Lovely place with friendly vibe
Spent a night in this cozy spot! The room was super clean and way bigger than expected. Had a delicious breakfast in the café across the street, highly recommend it! Just a heads up, the area felt a bit sketchy at times. Still, the helpful staff made the stay enjoyable!

very good location, just a short walk from the city center. the host was super nice and friendly. the room was basic but really quiet, which helped us sleep well. having free parking was a plus too.
the room was a bit outdated, and there was no breakfast included, which felt a bit overpriced for the services.

We had a lovely time here, especially enjoying the comfy double room and the cozy lounge to relax in after a long day. The atmosphere was so inviting, and we appreciated the availability of board games and a TV for unwinding. Just a heads up, the outside street looked a bit run-down, but once inside, it’s truly a hidden gem! 😊

The Ormonde is a gem! Comfy as a cloud with brand new memory foam mattresses, I slept like a baby. Plus, it's just a stroll away from Chester's vibrant heart with ace pubs and tasty spots like Istanbul BBQ and The Waiting Room Bar & Lounge nearby to tickle your taste buds.
The only downside? No breakfast on-site, but no worries—plenty of fab takeaways like Ahmed Indian Takeaway close by. With tea and coffee making facilities in the room, it's still a smashing stay, even if I only popped in for a night!

great location and comfy stay
The location is super handy, just a short walk to the city. The double room was clean and came with a flat-screen TV, heating, and free toiletries. Shower was great and the bed was comfy. Plus, free parking is a bonus. Just a heads up, there’s no breakfast on-site, but loads of good takeaways nearby.

super cool locks, excellent bathroom, ideal location
The room felt uncomfortably warm in the morning!!! Opening the window just let in too much traffic noise. Lack of atmosphere and no dining options made it feel a bit dull overall!!!

I had a pretty decent experience at The Ormonde. The location couldn’t be better, just a short walk from the city center and super close to the train station. I found the room very clean and tidy, with good security measures in place that made me feel safe. The tea and coffee facilities were a nice touch, perfect for a morning boost. Staff members greeted me warmly and remembered my name, making me feel right at home. On the downside, my room felt a bit outdated, lacking modern touches. The mattress could have been more comfortable, which made it slightly challenging to get a good night's sleep. I also noticed the walls were a bit thin, so I could hear some noise from neighboring rooms. The hotel didn't offer breakfast, which was a letdown, especially given the price. That said, there were some takeaway spots nearby that did save the day.
